Most auto glass claims cost you nothing.
We are members of the Lynx, Harmon, Safelite, Alfa Alliance, Alliance Claims Solutions and Guardian networks. We verify your coverage by phone before any work starts, we file the claim, and we bill the network directly.
Virginia law: you choose the shop.
When you file a glass claim, you do not have to use the big national chain your insurer suggests. Just say: “I’d like Ace Glass in Richmond to do the work.”

How long does a windshield replacement take?
About 60 to 90 minutes. Appointments run hourly except noon. Wait in the lounge with Wi-Fi and coffee, or have the mobile van come to you.
Can my chip be repaired, or does the windshield need replacing?
Chips up to about quarter size usually repair with about a 98% success rate. If a repaired chip ever spreads, the repair cost goes toward your replacement.
What do I actually pay with insurance?
The deductible, nothing else. Rock chip repairs are covered in full by most comprehensive policies, so those usually cost you nothing at all.
What is ADAS recalibration and do I need it?
If your vehicle has a camera or sensors at the windshield, they must be recalibrated after replacement. We do it same-day and hand you the printout. It is included in the job, never an add-on.
